Blue Shield Home Plate Club

These elite section is comprised of the first five rows located directly behind Home Plate between the dugouts. Seats (fully cushioned) are close enough to the field to smell the pine tar.

Your stay includes a private locker and all-you-can-eat food and drink (including alcohol) with access to the Blue Shield Club Restaurant and VIP lounge and complimentary in-seat service. View last season’s in-seat menu.

Blue Shield Home Plate Cub seat holders also enjoy unique, private access to watch batting practice at the Padres off-field batting cages.

Dugout Seats

The Blue Shield Home Plate Club are not the only dugout seats available at Petco Park.

• 1st Base VIP Box is located to the batters right, on the 1st base side of the Padres Dugout, with an exceptional view of the entire field and scoreboard.
• 3rd Base Coach’s Box on the opposite side — about as close as 3rd base action as you can get (bring a glove!). It also offers a unique view into the Padres dugout across the field. All dugout section seats are padded.

2023 Remodel

The San Diego Padres organization is making some improvements to the home plate club ahead of the 2023 season, to the tune of $7 million.

Formerly Lexus Home Plate Club

In 2022, some money changed hands and the section became the Blue Shield Home Plate Club. Do not get this mixed up with the Lexus Club, the private club on Field Level towards 3rd base.

Note: Home team dugout is located in front of sections 107 and the visitors dugout is across the field on the 3rd base side, located in front of Sections 108. Seats in these sections are behind the netting.
