San Diego Symphony Free Concert at Petco Park

The San Diego Symphony will perform a free Concert For San Diego on November 9, 2019, at Petco Park.

It’s the first performance of its kind at the San Diego Padres ballpark, which hosts an increasing number of concerts and events throughout the year.

The Concert for San Diego will begin at 3:00pm in the Park at the Park. The 82-member San Diego Symphony will perform an hour-long set that will include selections from Tchaikovsky, Beethoven and more.

Tickets
Although the Concert for San Diego is free, tickets must be reserved online in advance. For ticket information, visit the San Diego Symphony website. Maximum 6 tickets per order. Entry for approximately 3,000 guests will be made available, about half the venue’s capacity. No chairs (Yes blankets).

About the Concert of San Diego
The free “Concert for San Diego” came to fruition as a celebration of the orchestra and the inaugural season of its new music director, Rafael Payare. The outdoor performance at Petco Park is scheduled to include “Waltz of the Flowers” from The Nutcracker; the finale from Beethoven’s Symphony No.3: Eroica; Mauel De Falla’s “Farruca (Millers Dance)” from The Three-Cornered Hat; José Palbo Moncayo’s Huapango; and Arturo Márquez’s Danzón No. 2.
