Petco Park Condos

Some people love the Padres so much they get season tickets. Others laugh at that fickle commitment and roll up their shirtsleeve to reveal a Padres tattoo. But if you truly want to be a legend, in fact if you want to earn the nickname The Legend among your sports buddies, you move into a condo in The Legend.

The Legend

What makes The Legend unique is its location inside the Park at the Park. It is the only residential high-rise built INSIDE the gates of Petco Park. Built in 2007, the Bosa-designed tower in downtown San Diego has 178 units, many with Petco Park views, along with two decks overlooking Padres games: a garden deck on the 2nd floor and a 3,200 square-foot party deck on the 7th floor. Located at 325 7th Avenue, San Diego, CA 92101.

If for any reason The Legend is not the property for you, there are plenty of other condominiums and apartment buildings with a close relationship to Petco Park. For those unfamiliar, we are talking about the East Village neighborhood of downtown San Diego, east of the historic Gaslamp Quarter district. For reference, Petco Park’s address is 100 Park Blvd in the 92101 zip code.

The Metropolitan

Another residence with a special “connection” to the San Diego Padres stadium is The Metropolitan. A unique real estate concept, The Metropolitan is comprised of 38 penthouse-style condos atop the Omni Hotel. In addition to their own luxuriousness, condo owners can take advantage of the amenities of the Omni as well, including the private skybridge directly into Petco Park. Address: 165 6th Avenue, San Diego, CA 92101.

Diamond Terrace Condos

On the 14th floor of Diamond Terrace, a community recreation room with outdoor terrace has views right into Petco Park. Located at 427 9th Avenue, San Diego, CA 92101. This means you can enjoy live music, events, fireworks, and of course Padres baseball.

Icon Condominiums

Built in 2007, Icon has a rooftop sky lounge with grills, heaters, and direct views into Petco Park. 321 Tenth Ave, San Diego, CA 92101.

Revel

San Diego housing developers Cresleigh Homes are set to break ground on a 40-story residential high rise, Revel, near Petco Park in early 2025. Located at 611 Island Ave. (specifically the Ballpark Storage building with its iconic green “Ballpark Self Storage” signage), the Carrier Johnson-developed building will offer 443 units, studios up through three bedrooms, while preserving the historic façade of the 1869 Klauber-Wangenheim Company Building. Emphasizing convenience, energy, and community, Jeremy Lui, director of development for Cresleigh, envisions residents “reveling in all things that make downtown great.” The project aims to promote urban mobility, incorporating Electric Vehicle charging capabilities and prioritizing ride-share programs, public transit, and eco-friendly commuting options. With limited on-site parking, the focus is on sustainable living and contributing to a vibrant community. The development also features a rooftop terrace, swimming pool, communal spaces, and showcases local artists, aiming for LEED Silver certification. Interested?
