The Comfort Inn Gaslamp Convention Center is located at 660 G Street, San Diego, California. It’s not shiny new. The rooms are not enormous. But it’s safe, friendly and most importantly: affordable. Tough to say if it’s the cheapest, considering discounts and coupons and promotions going on. And with baseball tickets in hand, you do have some money to spend, so we are not talking hostels. There may likely be cheaper. Factoring in distance, service and base amenities, compared to other hotels in the downtown San Diego neighborhood, the Comfort Inn is cheap.
